PwBD reservation was horizontal within the overall State and category distribution.
Candidates were permitted to apply for only one State or Union Territory and enter up to three preferred training locations within that State or UT. Final location allotment depended on merit, preference and seat availability.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualification
Candidates needed a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.
For candidates registered under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme, the date of passing graduation could not be more than four years before the eligibility cut-off date of 1 May 2026.
Candidates were required to satisfy the eligibility conditions by the cut-off date. Final eligibility was determined during document verification, not merely through online registration or examination participation.

Previous apprenticeship and work-experience restrictions
A candidate was not eligible when the candidate:
- Had already undergone apprenticeship with Bank of Baroda or another establishment
- Was currently undergoing apprenticeship training
- Had previously been terminated from apprenticeship for reasons attributable to the candidate
- Had one year or more of training or job experience after obtaining the qualifying educational qualification

The bank determined the aggregate qualifying standard. SC, ST, OBC and PwBD candidates were eligible for a five-percentage-point relaxation in the aggregate qualifying requirement.
Merit was prepared State-wise and category-wise. When candidates obtained equal marks at the cut-off, the older candidate received the higher merit position.

Stipend and Training Conditions
Selected apprentices are eligible for a stipend of ₹15,000 per month during the 12-month engagement period.
