Trade Apprentice – ITI

Data Entry Operator

For the fresher Data Entry Operator discipline, candidates need Class 12 but below graduate level.

Important Qualification Restrictions

The prescribed qualification must be completed through a full-time regular course. Part-time, correspondence and distance-learning qualifications are not accepted for the notified disciplines.

Candidates possessing or completing higher professional qualifications such as BE/B.Tech, MBA, MCA, CA, ICWA or LLB are not eligible under the restriction stated in the notification.

For NATS and NAPS applicants, candidates who completed the relevant prescribed qualification five years or more before the 31 August 2026 reckoning date are also not eligible.

Training Duration

The apprenticeship period is 12 months for all notified disciplines.

Stipend

The statutory stipend is paid according to the Apprentices Act, Apprentices Rules and applicable amendments/guidelines.

In addition, IndianOil Marketing Division – Northern Region states that apprentices will receive ₹2,500 per month toward miscellaneous expenses.

Graduate and Technician apprentices receive the applicable Government/BOAT share through DBT, so the candidate must maintain a correctly updated Aadhaar-seeded and DBT-enabled bank account on NATS.
