Eligibility & Age Limit

Assistant / Upper Division Clerk

For Post Nos. 1, 3 and 5, candidates need:

  • Graduation with at least 60% marks; or
  • CGPA of at least 6.32 on a 10-point scale,

from a recognised university, with the degree completed within the stipulated duration of the course.

Candidates must also have proficiency in the use of computers.

Junior Personal Assistant / Stenographer

The corrigendum clarifies the qualification for Post Nos. 2, 4 and 6.

Eligible routes include:

Route 1

  • Graduation with at least 60% marks or CGPA 6.32/10, completed within the stipulated course duration.

OR

Route 2

  • Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with at least 60% marks or CGPA 6.32/10, completed within the prescribed duration;
  • one year experience as Steno-Typist/Stenographer.

Candidates also need:

  • minimum 60 words per minute in English stenography; and
  • computer proficiency.

Age Limit

The original advertisement specifies a maximum age of 28 years as on 16 August 2026.

Where posts are reserved:

  • OBC: up to 31 years
  • SC/ST: up to 33 years

Additional relaxation applies to eligible Government employees, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD candidates, meritorious sportspersons and eligible women categories under Government of India orders.

Because the corrigendum says all other conditions remain the same, candidates should use the original notification’s age cut-off unless ISRO issues another age-specific clarification.

Application / Processing Fee

ISRO states:

  • Application fee: ₹100 per application
  • Initial processing payment: ₹500 per application

Candidates applying for both post groups may have to pay the processing amount specified for multiple applications under the notification.

Refund Rule

The processing fee is refunded only to candidates who appear in the CBT/Written Test.

  • Women, SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates who are exempt from application fee receive the applicable processing amount back in full after appearing.
  • Other candidates receive the refund after deduction of the ₹100 application fee.

Candidates must enter correct bank-account details because refunds are processed to the account recorded in the application.

Skill Test
