Essential Qualification for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) English Jobs.
1.1.1. Four years integrated degree course from NCTE recognized institution/university
with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate including
B.Ed component.

Bachelors/Honours Degree from a recognized institution/university with at least 50%
marks in concerned subject, combination of subjects and also in aggregate. (AND)
B.Ed. Degree from NCTE recognized institution/university with at least 50% marks.

Three years Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from NCTE recognized Institution/university with at
least 50% marks.

Post-Graduation in concerned subject/any specialization in concerned subject with a
minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade provided that the candidate has studied the
subject(s) mentioned in the note below at the graduation level and three years
integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from NCTE recognized institution/ University with at least 50%
marks.
1.1.2 Qualified in the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (Paper-II) conducted by Central
Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
Note. Studied English as an Elective/Main Subject in at least 03 years/06 semester of
the course.
Desirable Qualification.
(i) Knowledge of Computer, (ii) Teaching Experience, (iii) Working Knowledge
English
Essential Qualification for Medical Officer Jobs
Essential Qualification. MBBS Degree from a recognized institution along with
registration with Medical Council of India.
Desirable. Two years’ experience as Medical Doctor in a residential school. Knowledge
of Computers, good communication skill
Essential Qualification for Nursing Sister (Female only) Jobs
Essential Qualification. Diploma/Degree in Nursing with registration in the Indian
Nursing Council/States Nurses Registration Council.
Desirable. Higher Qualification, Knowledge of Computer Applications.
2. Perks.
2.1. For the jobs of TGT (English) on regular scale. Transport Allowance,
LTC, Contributory Pension as per NPS, Subsidised schooling upto two children,
Rent free accommodation and Medical Allowance as per Sainik Schools Society
Rules & Regulations in vogue. The appointment will be made with all India
transferability clause.
2.2. For Contractual Posts of Medical Officer & Nursing Sister. Tenure of
contractual appointment will be 11 months from the date of appointment,
extendable to maximum period of three years on the basis of performance review
and school’s requirement on yearly basis. After completion of 11 months, onemonth break every year. Vacation pay will not be applicable for the contractual
posts.
3. Recruitment Fees.
Rs 500/- for regular jobs(non-refundable) and Rs 300/- for
contractual posts (non-refundable). Fees are to be remitted through RTGS/NEFT/Digital
modes only to ‘Principal Sainik School Ambikapur’ Payable at Ambikapur only. Application
fees deposited using other means will not be accepted. Application forms received without
fees shall be summarily rejected and no correspondence in this regards will be

4. Application Form.
The prescribed application and all relevant documents should
reach this office on or before 26 June 2026. The school will not be responsible for any
postal delay. Duly completed applications received through email may be considered
subject to receipt of the prescribed registration fees on or before 26 June 2026.

Applicants have to clearly mention their e-mail Id and contact number in the application
form.
5. Date of Selection Test.
After scrutiny of documents, list of short-listed candidates
will be displayed on school website and a call letter will be sent to all such candidates by
their registered Email Id mentioned in their application forms. Selection test is scheduled
to be held on 06 July 2026 (for TGT (English) and on 07 July 2026 (for the posts of
Medical Officer and Nursing Sister) at Sainik School Ambikapur. Reporting time for the
short-listed candidates is 0830 hours on the day. No candidate will be allowed as walk-in
candidate and no one will be allowed after 0831 hours. Candidates should be prepared to
stay overnight under own arrangement as recruitment may spread over an extra day.
6. Conduct of Selection Test.
6.1. Verification of documents.
Candidates are required to bring original
certificates with them on the day of selection test for physical verification. In case of
failure to produce the original certificates/testimonials at the time of document
verification, the candidature will be summarily rejected and no representation will be entertained.
6.2. Written Test/ Class Demonstration/ Interview.

| TGT (English) | 6.2.1. Written Test (100 Marks). Weightage 50%. One hour duration and will carry 100 marks consisting General Knowledge (15 marks), General English (15 Marks), Basic Mathematics (10 Marks) and Subject test of appropriate level (60 marks). A candidate will be required to score minimum of 33% to 50% marks, which will be decided on the day of selection test, to qualify for the next step of the selection process. 6.2.2. Class Demonstration (100 Marks). Weightage 30%. The candidates are required to prepare the topic, lesson plan and appropriate teaching aids. 6.2.3. Interview (100 Marks). Weightage 15%. 6.2.4. Higher Qualification and Experience. Weightage 5%. |
| Medical Officer | 6.3.1. Written Test (50 Marks). One hour duration consisting General Knowledge (5 marks), General English (10 Marks), Basic Mathematics (10 Marks) and Subject test of appropriate level (25 marks). A candidate will be required to score minimum 33% marks to qualify for the next step of the selection process. However, the minimum required marks may be increased upto 50% by the Board of Officers of the selection committee to limit the number of candidates for the next step of the selection process. 6.3.2. Skill/Proficiency Test (25 Marks). 6.3.3. Interview (25 Marks). |
| Nursing Sister | 6.4.1. Written Test (50 Marks). One hour duration consisting General Knowledge (5 marks), General English (10 Marks), Basic Mathematics (10 Marks) and Subject test of appropriate level (25 marks). A candidate will be required to score minimum 33% marks to qualify for the next step of the selection process. However, the minimum required marks may be increased upto 50% by the Board of Officers of the selection committee to limit the number of candidates for the next step of the selection process. 6.4.2. Skill/Proficiency Test (40 Marks). Burn and Basic Dressing (10 marks), Snake Bite Treatment (10 marks), Fracture Treatment (10 marks) and CPR (10 marks). 6.4.3. Interview (10 marks) to check basic knowledge of giving First Aid and of dealing with cases of injury/sickness of students in a residential school. |
7. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the selection process.
